• The Great Outdoors, especially mountains and the coast (that's why I live in Illinois!)
• Fishing - especially with a fly for trout
• Music - rock (Oasis, Beatles, Dire Straits, Eric Clapton), classical (Bach, Chopin, Mozart, Paganini), some folk.
• Reading - Darwin's diaries, novels by Dickens, Rutherfurd, and good trashy spy movies for reading on the 'plane.
• Lying on the sofa and watching the tele'.
• Art: The paintings of Sussex artist Michael Cruickshank
• Favourite Brew: King and Barnes Sussex Bitter (unfortunately, not brewed any more, see also CAMRA), espresso, and black tea (favourite brand: PGTIPs).

Favourite Movies: Henry V, The Commitments, Full Monty, Austin Powers, Four Weddings and a Funeral.
