COURSE DESRIPTION
Primary and intermediary metabolism. Exploration of fundamental
biochemical pathways in plants with an emphasis upon carbon and
nitrogen metabolism. Prerequisite: PLB320 or consent of instructor.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
Gain an understanding of intermediary plant metabolism.
Study the relationship between plant metabolism and
agricultural biotechnology.
Provide basic knowledge for biochemical techniques applied
to plants.
